Description
Ortofon OM 5E
½” MM cartridge
- Solid recommendation for most tonearms
- Ideal for Dual and Thorens tonearms
- Elliptically cut diamond
Easy Listening with E
Like the OM 5S, the Ortofon OM 5E is a universalist when budgets are tight and demands are high, but it has a slightly finer elliptical cut than the spherically ground OM 5S. Thanks to the high series consistency that only a specialist like Ortofon can offer and that guarantees the rich, dynamic sound of the OM5 models, as well as its uncomplicated handling and robust construction, frequent listeners and vinyl novices alike will be satisfied. Like the OM 5S, the OM 5E is also suitable for headshells that only allow the pickup to be screwed in from below, such as those found on older Thorens turntables. So who says that listening to vinyl has to be expensive and complicated?
