Ortofon 2MR Blue cartridges
The Ortofon 2MR cartridges are designed for turntables and tonearms like Rega or Dual, allowing easy installation without modifications. The 2MR Red features Split Pole Pins technology for precise sound reproduction, making it ideal for HiFi beginners. With an elliptical diamond stylus and a powerful generator, it delivers optimized playback. Its compact design fits most turntables with low-tone arms and is compatible with various playback systems. The sound profile is open and dynamic with a touch of warmth.

The 2M Series’ engines, coils and magnets configurations are not identical: Red and Blue are identical, so are the Bronze and Black and so are the true mono variants 2M Mono and 2M 78. Likewise, 2M series styli are interchangeable within the below combinations:
