Tension Wire Technology
In this design, the cantilever is additionally stabilized by a fine tension wire inside the stylus assembly (see image 2). This wire keeps the cantilever under defined tension within the elastic suspension, allowing more precise control of the stylus’ mechanical behavior.
The result is a more stable cantilever position, a consistent restoring force of the suspension, and improved transient response. Sonically, this often translates into clean bass reproduction, clear midrange, and precise rendering of transients.
