The ATN 95 SA is a high-quality replacement stylus featuring a Shibata cut, designed for VM cartridges of the Audio-Technica AT95E and AT3451E series. This is a Japanese reproduction by [ JC ], distributed by analogis, and equipped with a lightweight, low-resonance aluminum cantilever.

The Shibata stylus was originally developed for the precise tracking of quadraphonic records, which required playback of extremely high frequencies for proper decoding. Thanks to its superior resolution, the stylus became popular for stereo records as well – especially in the high-frequency range and near the inner grooves. Its elongated, narrow profile increases the contact area with the groove, reducing both distortion and record wear.
