Shure N 75 ED II | BLACK DIAMOND
This stylus is a high-quality replica of analogis for the original needle Shure N 75 ED II in “nude version”. This means that the stylus tip (the diamond) sits directly in the tube without a mount and therefore plays very lightly and transparently in the highs.
The bass foundation typical of SHURE is preserved very nicely and gains a bit more contour.

Remarks:
The BLACK DIAMOND is much lower than the original Shure N 75 ED II, please stay relaxed here, it works very well, even with slightly wavy records.
This stylus is also sold by Analogis as BLACK DIAMOND under the name Shure N 75 EC. This is identical except for the labelling.

Info | About the BLACK DIAMOND Series
These diamonds are made from a cut-to-length synthetic cuboid bar. Viewed under the microscope, you will hardly find an uglier diamond: the sides (not the cut!) are rough, the cut tends to be outside the center of the cuboid (off center cut) and the flanks appear unevenly long as a result. But if you then put the microscope on its side and close your eyes and just listen to the sound, you will see the true beauty of the BLACK DIAMOND series.
