This replacement stylus from the analogis BLACK DIAMOND series is designed as a compatible substitute for the original SANYO ST 09 D stylus. It features an elliptical diamond tip that allows more precise contact with the groove walls compared to a conical stylus profile.
The stylus uses a nude-mounted diamond. In this construction, the diamond tip is mounted directly into the cantilever without an additional metal shank. This reduces the moving mass at the tip of the cantilever, which can improve tracking accuracy and support a more detailed reproduction, particularly in the higher frequency range.
