This high-quality replacement stylus by analogis is compatible with all Audio Technica ATN 71 E needles and features a “nude mount” design. In this configuration, the stylus tip (diamond) is mounted directly onto the cantilever without a holder, allowing for exceptionally light and dynamic tracking, which enhances the resolution of high frequencies.

These diamonds are made from a cut-to-length synthetic cuboid bar. Viewed under the microscope, you will hardly find an uglier diamond: the sides (not the cut!) are rough, the cut tends to be outside the center of the cuboid (off center cut) and the flanks appear unevenly long as a result. But if you then put the microscope on its side and close your eyes and just listen to the sound, you will see the true beauty of the BLACK DIAMOND series.
